Alert!

I just looked at the KSL website and they even talked about it in the news lastnight and said that the health department discovered that energy drinks like Rockstar, Full Throttle, Monster drinks and other hardcore energy drinks CONTAINS ALCOHOL! They say that a study says that you may feel a little booze, even wired at the same time. So much caffeine, little bit of alcohol. Dangerous drink. There's a lot of kids out there drink this stuff and their parents don't know about the dangers of the drinks. Some teenagers drink this stuff even take caffeine pills and experience naseua, sickness, and vomiting. It definitely has got to be in the word of wisdom list.

Thanks Dan, good to know!
I think "strong drinks" is in the word of wisdom right? The leaders of the church continue to recieve revalation on details to this commandment, but alcohol was definitley spelled out in the beginning...they have suggested against certain things also..we have never tried these energy drinks, but we will definitely continue to stay away from them! they sound really bad! It sucks that all the sports idols that our kids look up to promote the junk even though they themselves probably don't drink it. They always have a bottle with the logo on it that they are drinking, but it's like a water bottle etc. probably full of water. It's hard to explain to our boys that they are being "lied" to, or decieved.

Ya, it is hard to live in these days. Especially for the kids, those drinks, tv, internet, movies, pornographic material, etc. It gets real bad these days especially pornography, you have to try real hard to not that stuff get into your house. My counselor from the counseling center told me the other day that the number one website people in Salt Lake City look at is sex and pornographic material, then family history is second. Ya, it's that bad. It gets really addictive too, about 2 million of U.S. population has serious problems with that. Just do what the church tells you what to do then you will be happy.

Oh yeah, my counselor also said that pornography companies make more money than professional sports associations now days. Sad. Real sad.
