Backyard Blitz

It's official. These trails are the ones I ride on right in the mountains behind my house. The Maple Syrup....I built. I also did a lot of help on the trail work on the Pioneer and a little work on The Flume. These trails are also shared with motor bikers. These trails are a blast and the scenery is beautiful. I call it my home. This is a good map somebody locally made, check out http://sanpete.com/pages/bike ..... or...... http://www.blazeofgloryoffroad.com/2011/07/ephraim-canyon-singletrack-trail-mtn.html ...... or.....http://utahmountainbiking.com/ for more information, pictures, and directions.

This one's interesting...

Ok, since I am not doing much and sitting around the house(yeah, it's winter) most of the time. I am having the privilege to surf the internet more. utahmountainbiking.com is one of my favorite websites, probably the only website to do some trail researching in the state of Utah. So this trail caught my eye, called Strawberry Narrows Trail. It is located at Strawberry Reservoir south of Heber City, UT. This looks great because of the scenery and it's 24 miles long. I am starting to like these kind of trails, this trail reminded me of the Good Water Rim Trail I did last fall but this has trees and water down below instead of rocks. This would definitely be a good summer trail.

An out-and-back trail with 12 miles one way and has a total 2,400 vertical, with lot's of rolling hills. Sounds perfect, and I love these pictures. I hope I won't be disappointed after I ride this because when I travel this far to a trail, I expect a good fun trail. An overnight camping trip at the campsite might not be a bad idea and I can ask my dad to come with me since he likes to go camping once a while. It's only 2 hours away though if you take a dirt road short-cut from Spanish Fork Canyon. I hope the road is good enough for my Subaru though. I'll have to ask around. This trail definitely looks like it takes the cake!
