his mom and i were with him for the race, one of his best showings race wise>>>went to robin hood the movie and ate at a chinese place after meeting bercky and speeding
I adjusted cleats back where they were and went for a ride. Still touching the crank and stays. And it's the farthest I can twist the cleats too. My feet are weird, that's all! I ordered Shimano XTR pedals and got a good deal on them. I called the bike shop before I ordered them and they told me to get the Shimano. I didn't go for a very long ride though, after ten minutes of riding, I couldn't go anymore, my legs felt dead from the race last Saturday still. Maybe until Wednesday, I could go on another ride to get ready for the Soldier Hollow Race this weekend. Should give me some recovery time until then. I sure hope these pedals will solve the problem. I can't let my shoes eat up the carbon fiber off my frame!
I went for a ride yesterday up above the B. I've noticed that my boots have gotten worn out from rubbing on the grip tape on my frame, wore through the stitching. dang. Got a freaking good workout though. That trail can be intense..4 laps, burned about 1400 calories, lost .8 pounds yesterday, 8.2 more to go to my goal. I wish I noticed the boot thing before I wore through the stitching though..guess I'll try shoe goo or something. I liked your write-up. Sounds like a good race. It's good you have people who support you.
..By the way, I don't think you're fat. You look fine to me. You're probably right though, you'd ride better lighter, so whatev eh. I keep wishing my dang left arm would get on the ball, still hurts, still weak as hell...no excuses though eh.
Ya, mom said the same thing, she I said I don't look that fat but she said it would be nice to lose a little bit to go faster. Injuries suck don't they? I have a lot of injuries and they feel better later on but sometimes they come back can be a pain in the butt. But just learn how to deal with it I guess. I still feel some weakness on my arm too(from the nail gun accident) but it's not that bad when you try not to think about it. I should try not think about any of my injuries and be careful. I get a lot of hand and arm exercises for my arm at work to make it stronger and it's working though. I found me in the video dude! Just the back wheel and red derailler. How I knew was it looked my leg, shoe and sock and back of my bike. I am really positive it's me but I don't remember seeing any camera guys up there.
