December:

Hi, I am doing fine. Except the part where I got laid off for the winter on my framer job recently. Right now I am looking for a temporary job to work until I get my old job back next spring. I am waiting for a phone call from Intermountain Seed Co. in Ephraim to work there for the winter. I went to Alta last Saturday to go skiing and it was great. There was nobody there because everybody was down at the valley doing Christmas shopping. There was only about 4 feet of snow and it was not enough for the black diamond trails though but you can barely ski on them still but though the skiing was really fun. I spent $22 on a lunch at Alf's restaurant at the mid-mountain restaurant in Alta and it was sure expensive to eat there. $8 on a tuna fish sandwich, $10 on a chicken fajita, and $2 on a drink. What a rip-off, you think? Next time I am definitely taking a sack lunch. But it was a really good fun day. Next summer, I am planning on fixing my mom and dad's basement, we're going to put a gas fireplace on the wall, paint it real good, tear off all the old shelves, buy a new LCD flat screen tv, hang it on the wall and hook my new Sony surround system on it. Then get new carpet for the basement and the whole house then buy some recliners. Before that we are going to shingle the roof first. I will have to pay some of it if I am staying at home. That'll pay for the rent. Plus sometime next summer I am going to buy a Sikk motorbike for around $2,000. I am going to get the Sikk Trailbike and I can't wait to play on it. It should be fun. I chose to get that instead of getting a truck because it is cheaper and funner that way. Well, see ya later.
